Yalgali
SYDNEY FRINGE FIRST NATIONS HUB
Sydney Fringe Festival begins at Yalgali, their First Nations Hub celebrating fresh voices, bold stories, and deep connection to Country.
Held over three powerful days at PACT on Gadigal land, Yalgali features storytelling, music, theatre, and film; all by mob, for mob and allies. With a focus on new work from local First Nations artists, the program blends performance with community and ceremony.
Join us for a fire ceremony, live shows, and connection-driven events like Open Mic and Koori-oke. This is a space for celebration and truth-telling, gathering and joy, where the world’s oldest living culture leads the way in creativity and collective spirit.
Come together to honour Country, uplift community, and open the Sydney Fringe Festival.
Made in Sydney
CELEBRATE HOMEGROWN TALENT
Made in Sydney is back and bigger than ever! Now in its sixth season, this flagship program shines a spotlight on the best locally made, tour-ready independent work.
Presented at PACT, the 2025 season expands into a three-part celebration of homegrown excellence: Made in Sydney, Made in Wollongong and Made in Canberra in collaboration with Merrigong Theatre Company and Canberra Theatre Centre. From theatre and musical theatre to dance, physical performance and artistic experimentation, this is the future of performance, made right here.
Programming includes Takatāpui and I Watched Someone Die on TikTok from Sydney; The Cadaver Palaver: A Bennett Cooper Sullivan Adventure and Superposition from Canberra; and Dear Diary and The Cardinal Rules from Wollongong.
Whether you’re cheering for your city or chasing what’s next, this is the program to watch. Discover new voices, new stories, and the next generation of festival favourites
