CRIP RAVE THEORY

CRIP RAVE THEORY is back AT PACT; and will be bigger and badder than ever 😈

Following their first, sell-out party in 2022, your favourite club night outside the club returns to PACT, with a stacked lineup to carry you through from arvo to dusk to darkness. On Sat 15 April, arrive and listen to lush sounds as you soak up the last rays of sun, eat, drink and chill before moving into the warehouse as things get dark for even more DJs, performance and dancing.

Headlining the event is Naarm's incomparable SOVBLKPSSY, supported by local icons salllvage, CRT's mama Aquenta, b2b angels Rydeen & Ma'Ata, Zzarni and Taruna. The party will also see a performance by Club Chrome founder, the phenomenal Eva Berlin; and swirling custom visuals by Nory (Naarm). Hottest light to night vibes. Don't miss it: get your tickets now!

Make it stand out

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

CRIP RAVE THEORY is both a party and a proposition: drawing on disabled/crip knowledge to create more intersectionally-accessible rave spaces.

In response to inaccessible and exclusionary club spaces, CRIP RAVE THEORY centres and celebrates all bodies that are sidelined in traditional nightlife culture; a space for community, connection, pleasure and self-expression.

CRIP RAVE THEORY takes place on the stolen land of the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. Sovereignty was never ceded; always was, always will be Aboriginal Land, all across so-called Australia.

At CRIP RAVE THEORY, we recognise that striving for greater access for all is an ongoing, collaborative process. We embrace and acknowledge that everyone’s needs are complex, and that at times they may overlap, and also butt up against each other.

CRIP RAVE THEORY is disability-led, and committed to community-leadership, solidarity, collective-care and continued learning and growth. Our lineups always include a majority of people who identify with an experience of disability. We strive to book across as many intersections as possible.
