Anwyn Brook-Evans is a multidisciplinary artist mainly having worked in event production, installation, as an artist liaison, writer, actor, lighting designer, theatre mechanist and DJ who believes all art forms inform one another. She believes in community and collaborative driven practice as well as a deep emphasis on and in acknowledgement to the land we create on, having grown up on beautiful Dharug country; deep acknowledgment to the First nations storytelling practices, the soundscapes, natural biodiversity and incredible landscapes have all informed the way she particularly writes plays, poetry and narratives and how she devises music and sound experiences.

Anwyn was trained as a Dramaturg and Actor in a Bachelor of Arts (Theatre and English Literature) at the University of Notre Dame, Australia and her training in the psycho-physical methodology of Chekhov informed her theatre and overall artistic practice to be one that is within the body; gestures, centres and having imagination encompassed intrinsically into movement. Anwyn deeply appreciates a somatic model when devising art. This too has influenced her Lighting design work where she prioritises how heat, different colours reacting to our eyesight, shadows and the physicality of stepping into or away from the light, can drive and inspire the storytelling.

Anwyn has worked at PACT for the last few years as a lighting and venue technician and in 2026 has stepped into the Marketing and Communications role which deeply serves her love for community and working directly with Artists.
