Summer Sounds is a new initiative that offers performance opportunities for musicians in alternative, non-dance venues. Summer Sounds launches in January with three nights of beats from an eclectic line up of Djs.

Each night after 'On The Border of Things: Part One', DJs will perform on PACT's foyer stage from 7.45pm. The bar and courtyard will be open throughout the evening. Entry in Summer Sounds is free after 7.30pm. The inaugural Summer Sounds line up is:

Wednesday 17th January: an all vinyl session from Jungle Funk Soundsystem
Davy D and Craig Frazer from the Jungle Funk Soundsystem play back to back classic Funk, Afro, Dancehall and Disco.

Friday 19th January: DJ Kingy
DJ Kingy returns to the PACT stage with a tech house set that will have you up and dancing.

Saturday 20th January: DJ Frantik
Hip Hop master DJ Frantik brings his signature mix of dancefloor hits and smooth grooves to PACT.

PACT is producing Summer Sounds alongside the world premiere season of On the Border of Things, a new Australian work by interdisciplinary artist James Nguyen and his uncle Cong Ai Nguyen. On the Border of Things runs from the 17th to 20th January in PACT’s theatre from 7pm. The show is 40 minutes and tickets are $15 / $12.
