Janie Gibson is an actor and a theatre maker. She has a Master or Arts from Teatr Piesn Kozla Poland and Manchester Metropolitan University UK and a Bachelor of Arts from University of NSW and Bachelor of Fine Arts from Sydney College of Arts. She was a member of the imPACT Ensemble in 2005. Her theatre credits include Stories of Love and Hate by Roslyn Oades with Urban Theatre Projects and Sydney Theatre Company, Rommy by Nick Coyle for Old Fitz Theatre, Mad Max Remix directed by Eddie Sharp at Melbourne Comedy Festival to name a few.
She is a member of the performance group Whale Chorus and had a residency at Performance Space in 2011. The group began with a project as part of PACT’s Vacant Room 2008 with mentorship by Paul Capsis.
