Who can get involved?

PACT offers young people, aged 9 -26 years, the opportunity to be part of a creative team as performer, writer, technician, designer or director.

The PACT company has members from all over Sydney; as far south as Wollongong, as far west as Campbelltown and North to Pymble...

We hold rehearsals out of hours to suit you; if you are attending school, university or working or have a long way to travel!

What if you have NO performance experience?

PACT is a creative space for you to learn and get involved, regardless of your background or prior experience. You just need the curiosity to explore new ideas and commit to a full-length process (see Past Productions for details).

What if you already have some theatre experience?

PACT's staff and project-based artists aim to support young theatre-makers. Our short works program and mentorships help you gain professional experience in a supportive environment. If you are exploring a theatre-based artform: music, design, film/media, writing, directing - talk to PACT staff about your area of interest & submit a proposal for consideration!

Who can you work with?

All PACT projects are guided by dynamic, professional artists who offer unique skills and training, an experienced eye & encouragement.

Each project has a large team of young artists working on stage and backstage alongside you.

Who sees PACT events?

All PACT projects are created for a public audience.

Last year over 2000 people came to see PACT's work. PACT shows are usually performed in our versatile theatre space in Erskineville, two minutes from Erskineville Station or five minutes walk from Newtown.

PACT also tours work to Festivals, collaborates with other performance companies and creates outdoor public events for PACT's inner-city community.
