Block Side Story: a roam around the Block in 2008

Following on from the positive feedback from the local community on Gathering Ground in 2006, PACT & Redfern Community Centre presented Gathering Ground #2. This project involved youth from Redfern and the Waterloo Girls Centre who worked with a team of professionals and emerging artists to create an exciting spectacle about friendship and culture. Two major Sydney companies – Legs on the Wall & ERTH - ran skills workshops in puppetry, stilt walking, gymnastics and aerial work. Participants led the audiences through The Block in search of local stories.
