Current Work
The Mad Max Remixartist_profile_eddie_4.jpg
directed and co-written by Eddie Sharp

Using re-edited, re-animated footage from the entire original Mad Max trilogy, The Mad Max Remix follows the story of Max, the greatest dancer of all time, on his quest to join Miss Tina's prestigious
Bartertown Dance academy. The re-edited film plays silently while actors, musicians and foley artists recreate the new dialogue and soundtrack live. This is a re-scripted singing, dancing, cinematic
experience. This is Mel as you've never seen him before. This is a live video remix.

Wonka! A Live Cinema Remix
directed and co-written by Eddie Sharp

In the tradition of Bargearse, What's up Tigerlily? and Hercules Returns, Sydney art school brats The A.V Club are back by popular demand after a sellout season in Sydney. Watch as they re-dub the
1970s childhood favourite Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory – Live!!. Cult classic Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory screens silently behind a crack team of actors (all improvisors and theatresports
champions). Accompanied by a team of foley artists banging pots, throwing skittles and twisting celery, they turn the tale of Charlie's golden ticket into a sordid story of LSD, nazism, a Polish princess
under threat, a Beastie Boys inspired breakdown and a river of poop.

Future Work
Some Film Museums I Have Knownartist_profile_eddie1.jpg
Some Film Museums I Have Known is an innovative new contemporary theatre show that incorporates performance, found footage, live video, open source programming and scale models within an ever-evolving DIY set. Using Laura Mulveys 1973 essay “Visual Narrative and The Pleasure Principle” as its starting point, it is an investigation into the cultural dominance of Hollywood cinema.  It poses the question: how can we be expected to tell our own stories when the primary mode of storytelling no longer belongs to us? It is being supported by the Nextwave festival as part of their Kickstart Innitiative.
