Christie Woodhouse is a theatre maker, artist and singer. Fascinated and alarmed by the existential threat of climate crisis, resource use, and the disruption of public dialogue across new media; her work explores this via improvisation, physicalisation, vocalisation and interactivity. Her performance work has been programmed at You Are Here Festival, Crack Theatre Festival, and Shopfront Arts Co-op. Working in CACD and arts administration, she’s been a supporter, producer, curator and facilitator of arts programs at Shopfront Arts Co-op, Milk Crate Theatre, and Crack Theatre Festival.
She’s been an active member of PACT with Rapid Response Team in 2016, Vacant Room resident 2015, BBM Drama Award recipient 2014, and 3x3x2 resident artist in 2018-19. She has degrees from; University of Wollongong (Bachelor of Performance), University of New South Wales (Honours Class 1, Theatre & Performance Studies) and is a current student at Nan Tien Institute.
